Let's do this... I guess i should commence by telling how i started drawing but that's so boring, so i'm gonna tell you anyways, since i can remember i always liked comics and cartoons packed with action and pretty colours *.* not the animes you see these days with all that kawaii stuff (sorry anime fans, i liked dragon ball tough)so there i was with a pencil in my hand trying to draw mighty max or a g.i. joe having an orgy of firepower and adventure, i also sarted reading my fathers old comic books, like Conan, Flash Gordon, Moebius, Mandrake etc.. (trés vintage non?) so i guess my references were always about fantazy, sci-fi, alternative realities blablabla... they stuck to me during the years and that reflects on my work i think. I started drawing with simple pencils and developing my own lines, but that wasn't enouf naturally i wanted to experiment with different stuff to get as close to the old comic book styles, that i liked so much, as possible so i began to pickup the pen and playing with colours and shadows, i guess i just evolved from there, drawing with whatever texture or materials i had in hand, by this time i wasn't doing any professional work so i was never afraid about the outcome, if it didnt came out has i wanted i could always try again and again. About 6 years ago i really started taking up drawing seriously, i combined my previously references with new ones, new readings, love affairs, music and drugs (kinda like rock'n'roll eh?) played a serious roll in this, drawings became darker, more expressive and with that ocult feeling, eventually i took up an illustration course (wich i'm still doing) so i'm hoping to evolve and experiment with new techniques even more. Currently i started designing a comic book with another friend, but that's lightyears away from being what we want, mostly because the lack of time we both have.
